With an average snowfall of
160 inches and average temperature of -5 degrees celsius, the Kimberley
Alpine Resport offers terrain for skiers and borders of all levels.
The front side of the mountain has exceptional downhill skiing, with
long runs, a half pipe, a terrain park and breathtaking views of the Rocky
Mountains. The more advanced skiers and borders can enjoy the consistent
light dry powder or thrill seek on one of the top rated mogul runs in
Canada - The Easter. There is also night skiing on offer in one of North
America's longest night ski runs which is over one mile long.
For cross country skiers there are 26 kilometers of groomed trails to
challenge beginner to expert and a 3.5 kilometre loop which is lit daily
for night cross country skiing.
